Turning the program around (the one that actually counts) is winning more than what you won last year and taking the team to decent bowls.

if you think he has created a roster to win, then why is he not winning? It just means he does all the right things except for coaching on game days...

Where do you get we have above average recruiting? We have swung at and missed on all the big names we have went after except for two. One of them will probably go pro after one year and the other was shown the door before the season started. We lost several in the final weeks leading to signing day last year.

DDs recruiting would be above average, at La Tech!

First of all, they are not kids. Quit calling them kids.
The grades suck - we're last in the SEC.
Dooley throws his headset on the sidelines numerous times. BTW, big fight in Gibbs this week.
We quit in the Florida and Bama game.
Recruiting above average - yeah, considering there are 120 teams and the 60th place team would be average. We are 12 out of 14 in the SEC - unacceptable.

Kids out of trouble and all the rest that you listed is great. But the main reason CDD should get another year is that our offense is one of the best in the country and with this offense (assuming we keep Bray and CP and/or Hunter) and just average defense we will be back to winning 9+ games next year (would have happened even this year if defense was just a little bit better). Also, CDD has already shown that he is capable of improving things that are broken - look at the improvement on the offensive line and running game from the year before (sure Graham and Pittman have a lot to do with that but who hired them? Also, CDD is obviously offensive specialist so he should get more credit for X's and O's than he does since he sits in those offensive game planning meetings and obviously knows what he is doing). Similar types of improvements can happen on the defensive side next year and we will be back in business.
