Dooley says he is not being fired...

DD has done a b- job.
Kids grades outstanding
Kids out of trouble outstanding
Kids sportsmanship outstanding
Playing with heart outstanding ,we have fought till the end in every game!
Recruiting above avg.
Win loss average!
That would be above average and not enough to fire the man before his first senior class season IMO!

Never gets old.

If Dooley wants to be fair to his family, he should pack his things and get on out of town now! Think this week has been bad .. wait til you lose to Vandy.

Recruiting is below average considering both offense and defense....no true SEC running backs
Coaching is on the high school level

Dooley staying and Sal going?

I'm assuming the number is few, but (as stated in a thread earlier) you're hearing more and more people talking today like maybe it's not all on Dooley.

Personally, I think the best thing would be for both to go IF there's a proven better replacement for Dooley. Sal needs to go no matter what. Players aren't responding to him. I don't know if its because he has no depth so he can't threaten to bench them or what, but this is all bad.

On the other hand, Dooley, Cheney, and the offense have all been together for 3 years and our offense is something we can honestly be proud of. IMO If we can't find someone who is proven, who we know for a fact would be better than Dooley, then Dooley needs to stay and we need to keep building on the offense. Sal needs to go no matter what and the defense needs a complete makeover.

Next year when Bray and the skill position kids leave, you will have little offense and the defense....well what defense 5-7 is next year lets Keep Dooley

his decision making with his coaching ass at UT on the line last week sealed his fate. Whereas I would've considered it an option before, depending on availability of new coaches of course, its moot now.

You can't go down like that when you know what's at stake. We stopped swinging because we were afraid to get punched back, when we could have simply punt the ball out of bounds on 4th down.

It all worked itself out saturday.

Yes It DID INDEED......coach FOOLEY

He's basically lying to the media. He told the team he wouldn't be returning next year, as did the BOT.. But he tells the media he hasn't been fired. Technically he's right, he hasn't been fired yet... But he knows (and has been informed) he's not returning next year and so does the team..

Neal is 9th in the SEC. Until he tweaked his ankle he was on his way to a 1000 yard season. He plays in the SEC. He's a runner. IYO, whats a true SEC running back?

Not enough to fire the man is right...he has turned this program around but some of his in-game decisions make me wonder if he can be a SEC power and not just a good guy!! In this case...time will tell (if he has any left)
We're the 2nd worst program in the SEC right now. Recruiting is crumbling. He's turned nothing around.

Fulmer was let go and we crapped the bed against Wyoming. Hart wants this team to get to a bowl. He will pull the trigger if we lose against Vandy or at the end of the year-I can't see him getting another year, even if we win out and win a bowl game. I would be very surprised because we wont get a lot better next year with Dooley. The recruiting class is not that great and fan apathy is at a high. We need a change.

K-town will RIOT if we lose another game this season to vandy..hell we have beat them 25 of the past 26 yrs or something like that..last loss was back in 2005, Fulmers 1st losing season...havent lost to them since...so LETS GO VOLS!!! Beat these bastards into the GROUND!!!!!!
