Dude, get a life. I don't underdstand why people think it is necessary to be so negative about this program. WE ARE TENNESSEE! WE ARE SET UP FOR A VERY BRIGHT FUTURE IF EVERYONE WOULD JUST QUIT WITH THE HATRED AND SUPPORT THE PROGRAM AND DOOLEY! EVERYONE KNEW TWO YEARS AGO WHEN WE WHERE LOOKING FOR A COACH THAT IT WOULD TAKE TIME TO REBUILD, YET EVERYONE IS UPSET THAT IT ACTUALLY TOOK TIME. WE RETURN 19 STARTERS NEXT SEASON, HIRED JAY GRAHAM, AND ARE ABOUT TO BRING IN A BIG NAME DC AND GOOD RECRUITING CLASS. QUIT BEING SUCH NEGATIVE NANCYS AND LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THINGS. Speculation that Kevin Steele is your big Defensive Coordinator hire, right before his offense gives up 70 points in a high profile bowl game. (It could have been a lot, lot worse).

Making 1.8 Million dollars a year for all of the above.

Doesn't take long for the impatient, self-proclaimed, egoistical, instant gratification, brain-drip "experts" to post hatemonger posts, I see. If Urban Meyer, yea, the great Vince Lombardi was coaching here and facing the same realities as Dooley, you'd be spewing the same type manure vomit you are now.

I too am disappointed with CDD's performance but I think smart enough to realize he stepped into a mile high pile of wet cow patties in coming here. Digging himself out is going to require an Excavator Caterpillar 330D and 54 construction crews. Yet I also think he needs to produce in 2012 at least 8 wins or we hire a big name coach with proven records. That doesn't take away the fact CDD faced and is facing realities that would have drowned even many hotshot coaches, yet he's still here instead of jumping ship. He has a lot more class than you show with your post.

Have you watched UT football the past 10 years? Our football program is "snake bit." From 2000-2011 we have won 3 bowl games and havent won an SEC title since 1998. Dooley came into a situation that no other coach would because they knew our program was in piss poor condition.

Get it: our program was in shambles. Fulmer let it slide into obscurity and Kiffin kicked it in the balls, running off half our recruits.

Mmkay, simpletons? Dooley has had to REBUILD THE FRIGGIN PROGRAM FROM THE GROUND UP. And it's still a work in progress.

And he's done a fine job so far. Considering how low our program is, it's phenomenal how good of a job he has done with the recruiting classes.

Get over it, or go back to following your 'other teams'.

Actually, as long as the merge all the other hundreds of troll threads with it, then I kind of like it. One thread vs a bunch of threads all saying that dooley sucks? I like the one thread idea.

However, I would rename it "The Derek Dooley Trollbait Complaint Thread"

:)

p.s. BTW, you just made yet another new thread with the words 'Dooley Sucks' in it.

In the continuing effort to clean things up around here, we at least need to change the title. I already suggested that we call it....

'Dooley Sucks (Rumor)'

But perhaps even better, we could change it to...

'Observations about Dooley'
