I think we can go 8-3 or 7-4 down the stretch and that puts us at 19-11 or 18-12, pretty much where we were last year, right on the bubble going into the SEC tourney where anything can and will happen. RPI is 76. That Wichita State win may come back to be the difference maker. What do yall think?

Doable? Sure. But if you are watching the same team I am you know they are more than capable of crapping the bed and blowing a cant lose game or 3. I hope not. Other than the last 5 minutes of all the recent games, they've looked great all of a sudden.

I agree. I think its doable but our guys don't inspire much confidence at all. Our 2 best players scoring wise stokes and mcrae play good one night and lack luster the next.

They need a triple scoring threat and right now this team doesn't have it. Stokes and McRae are giving it. Moore and Richardson are doing the little things. Golden is nursing injuries. McBee could be that guy, but he is such a liability on defense especially against athletic teams.

Huge defensive liability like you said. If mcbee doesn't score he has no reason to be out there at all. I don't like his def and he's got to learn to block out and follow his shot after a 3.

That's the problem. There is no third consistent scoring option so Richardson, McBee, Reese, etc have to chip in to help out. Golden being hurt and now maybe out really puts UT in a bind.

Richardson hasn't scored much lately but he has played pretty good D and had 10 boards last night.

Also, Ark has to play at Bama Thu night. Hopefully, we'll catch them a little tired on Sat.

Your third scorer has to be Golden, period. We need him to play how he's capable badly. I think we'd be a completely different team right now if he'd wake up.

If we don't make more free throws and have less turn overs, then we lose them all.

I think that it is a mental thing and that they aren't thinking and are making mental mistakes.

My thought process is simple. This is the same team that went on a run last year minus Cam Tatum and Maymon. If Stokes can play like he did last night and maybe...just maybe kenny hall or Yemi carries some weight and Moore continues to play well, I think it's possible. Coach Martin got them to that point last year with pretty much the same talent so I think it's possible again. It's a weak back half of the schedule, very weak.

Agree, and at least Golden was solid on making foul shots, wait.....nevermind.

I've been saying it a few weeks, I think 20 wins and we've got a decent shot to be in. If that mean 18-12(10-8) then we need to win atleast 2 in the SECT. If we go 19-11(11-7) then need atleast one win in the SECT.

I agree with that, what are your thoughts on Arkansas and T A&M? interested to get your opinion, not too familiar with them and those games on the road sort of scare me

Both teams are capable of smacking us, or no showing. A &M won in Rupp, but then lost like their next 4, explain that? Arkansas is a talented team, and playing in Fayetteville can be tough. BJ Young is a great player, future NBA draft pick, and has the potential to go off. However, if we can shut him down our chances of winning that game really go up.

This game is huge for Tennessee IMO. Not an easy game, and won't be favored, but it's a team they can beat. Win this and you're nipping at the heels of Bama in thr conference standings. Ideally, Arkansas smacks Bama tomorrow in triple OT, and we beat Arkansas Saturday.

With McBee & Golden not at full strength hurts us, but w/McRae, Lopez & Stokes stepping up that helps offset the injuries. I think a lot of this teams problem is above the neck...straighten that out & we can be dangerous.
