I think Dave Clark was the DB's name. He was a four star, which I imagine was a pretty big deal for LT. He flipped commitmets from LT to UT with Dooley. It may not be 100% analogous, but is at least similar. I'm not sure why holding a bunch of kids hostage at a program that may no longer be interested is so much better of an option. You've probably noticed some of those early enrollees have had some problems. I think the coaching change is at least a contributing factor.

USC had some very bad attrition in the last year of Carroll, first year of Kiffin transition. Malik Jackson for example. He has had issues to overcome in LA.

The game plan he drew up last year against Oregon was a thing of genius offensively. He is putting his players in positions to be successful.

And your great Kiffin only went 7-6 with basically the same team

He went to a weaker conference and an easier place to recruit to. Idol worship is dangerous

Stating facts about DD means that you hate him while at the same time stating facts about Kiffin means you love him. Now that's sound logic.

It could also mean that you didn't go to UT, which also lessens the value of one's opinion and makes them a radical.

Lyls, these guys complain everyday of the week about how bad Dooley is and that they don't think he will make it. Nobody will convince me that repeating that adnauseum on a public board equals support.
Never.
And I'm jabbing at the guys that didn't go to UT because they are sensitive about it. I really could give a flip and many of my friends that are UT fans didn't go there.
However, we have 2 TT grads and one UGA grad that are of the biggest complainers in this thread. That's a fact that can't be ignored.

You'd have to be an idiot to not know who has admiration for Kiffin on here and who doesn't. He continues to get lauded on here as the head coach at USC, and partly responsible for the downturn for UT, while the same few complain about DD everyday. Again, interesting definition of "support" for the program and HC.
That should be logical enough for you.

There are a lot of UT fans that didn't go to school there that don't whine and ***** about the HC in an open forum on a daily basis.
Show some respect for the University you "support".

You guys fail to understand that we are a few weeks from a new season and you are speaking about Kiffin in a positive light and DD in a negative light on a UT board. Once again, a ****ing beautiful definition of support.

Correct, but I do know that it doesn't take 45 minutes on a plane to get from Lexington to Knoxville. If you are going to lie, you may at least want to make sure you know the minor details.
