Dr Who

Anyone's DVR catch that Dr Who - The Lost Episode:"Shada"?

I guess I liked it for what it was. It could have been a lot shorter than 3 hours though. It was so weird how they randomly went from live action to animation. I'd forgotten how strange it is to watch something from way back in the day.

The episode was never finished originally, they added the animation recently to complete the episode.

Ahh ok, that makes more sense. The very last scene that they recently shot was noticeable as well when the doctor appeared and was suddenly white-haired and 30 years older.

Yeah, No Spoilers!;)

They are doing a Global Premier so the Season 11 Premier will be this Sunday, October 7, at 1:45PM ET. on BBC America!

Doctor Who: Series 11 | Trailer #2

FIRST LOOK: Episode 1 | The Woman Who Fell To Earth

I was expecting a bit more but so far I like it. I already like these companions better than Bill and what ever the bald guy was called.

Jodie Whitaker's mannerisms, the way she talks etc.. that we have seen so for reminds me a lot of Tennant's Doctor.

Really enjoyed this episode better than the season premier. It felt more like a Dr. Who ep. IMO

Not a fan of the new look the inside of the TARDIS. Even the outside paint now has a more greenish blue tint to it I thought.

Did I mention how much I'm liking these companions.

I don't know what's with the long breaks between seasons. Last year began airing in early October, and the next season doesn't start until 2020. What is with the filming and production schedule?

Filming for the upcoming season began in January and wrapped a couple weeks ago. I believe it has to do with the fact that they film at a bunch of different locations and availability of directors. I believe on average it takes 9 months to film a season of Doctor Who.

My DVR recorded that an episode that aired around Christmas. I was excited to watch a new episode of Dr Who only to turn it on and find out it was some animated crap without the new Dr in it.

My onscreen guide has something new beginning in about 15 minutes at 6:30?

Yes! I had the DVR set to record the series. For some reason the first episode didn't record but as I double checked it's set to record episodes 2 and 3. Really weird. I was able to catch up on the first episode about an hour ago. I'm a little confused because The Master in Dr Who was last played by Michelle Gomez(who I absolutely loved) actually died in the final season with Peter Capaldi.

It's possible that this version of the Master is a past incarnation that we hadn't seen yet. The Master has a really cloudy and confusing timeline.
