with all they hype surrounding this class and everybody getting so excited i am curious what everyones ideal class would be. dont go out and say guys ranked 1-5, be realistic and guys who we are actually recruiting. with that said i am going on the premise we will lose mcbee, maymon, hall, miller and stokes..so 5 available scholarships:

Here's mine...

PG: Travon Landry 2* grade-85
SG: Sindarius Thornwell 4* grade-94 TOP 50
SF: Nick King 5* grade-97 TOP 50
PF: Jonathan Williams lll 4* grade-95 TOP 50
C: Moses Kingsley 4* grade-94 TOP 50

2 of these 5 are memphis guys, hopefully stokes can help us out, and hopefully memphis continues to struggle some and miss the tournament. i think the biggest stretch here would be kingsley, but maybe nichols could replace him as he's no scrub also a 4*. all the other guys are memphis guys, that we aer in on and have a chance with, king will be hard to get out of there as well.

That's a good looking class. I'm torn right now between Kingsley and Woodson over which I want more. The others I agree with.

If Stokes is gone then how could he help out.But i think he will be around for atleast two more years after this year.

This would be an awesome class. UT basketball would definitely be going in the right direction with a class like that.

As much as I'd like to see Stokes stick around I think it would do more good to see CM turn him into a lottery pick within a year and a half. His national attention would also be a good influence on those Memphis prospects we're chasing...

Not sure Stokes is going to help us much in Memphis. Word around those parts is that the only reason he picked us was because we had an open spot for him. He would have preferred to go to Memphis, Arkansas, or Kentucky. Not sure how much, if any of that is true, but that is what the Memphis kids are hearing.

of course thats what memphis people say they are too naive to realize someone actually wanted to get out of that $hit hole. im sure the fact that memphis appears to be headed down the drain as well had nothing to do with it.

unless you think stokes is lying there are multilple quotes and videos online with him saying why he chose to come to UT, and none of it has anything to do with being the school with a scholarship. in case nobody in memphis realized, stokes actually said he was initially planning on redshirting and sitting out this year anyways.

the same way that tobias helped get stokes here to TN. tobias isnt here anymore, but he deserves some of the credit for bringing in stokes. guys talk to each other, if a kid who is friends with stokes is considering us you can bet on it that they will ask stokes about his time here at UT, and what he thought about it.

yea that kid is an absolute stud as well, id love to have kingsley down there swatting shots though.

I've been following Kingsley this season.
Has about 3 triple doubles this year.
Has really picked up his offensive game this season.
Should be a terror of a shot blocker next year.

He swatted my Point Guard's shot into the stands. That's when I decided I was going nowhere near the paint with him lurking around in there.

I think Moses had an off night that night.
4 blks and 4 rebounds.
Is your PG any good?
We need one badly.

He didn't do much offensively. Only 4 blocks bc we didn't drive much either. Our PG is just a Sophomore. He'll be a good 1 though in the future. We have a 6 ft 7 PF/SF but he plays so below is potential. Has the physical attributes but travels going to dunk, horrible basketball IQ. Potential through the roof though. Plus he isn't too bright and struggles with plays. He could be good though if he could correct some of that.
