I guess my thought that Reggie White is one of the best ever to play the game is homerism as well

When it comes to which players we support in the NFL, it depends how well they are doing, if the player is only mediocre or not good we don't care about them or their teams... Don't believe me? Ask a vols fan.

Manning is one of the best to ever suit up and play football, regarless of position, Drew Brees is a good QB but has naver even been in the top 3 QB in the league.

Even though I'm a Manning fan ,Peyton has the best overall stats at present. I may have to give the nod, however so slightly to Drew. He did beat Peyton in the Super Bowl, which could have gone either way. We'll see what happens this year. Remember Peyton is coming off surgery and we'll see how well he comes off after the surgery. I do wish him the best and think he'll retire in 2-3 years. I think the Colts will draft a QB next season and hope to get a decent one. It's hard to get a good QB in the draft in the 2nd -3rd rounds. It's been done in the past though. Miami for one with Marino.

Yeah because there are so many other high profile athletes from UT that have been with one team for 10+ years. Great input.

Also, I suppose all the talking heads that repeatedly proclaim Manning to be the best QB in the game and one of the best to ever play are just Vol fans. Good to know. All those NFL players that voted Manning #2 player overall in the league must have really wanted to play for the Orange and White, too.

I've been a huge Vol fan for years but until Peyton was drafted did I follow a UT player so much and change my favorite team-Washington to Indy. I did like the Colts and Dolphins years ago but they weren't my favorite team then. I have followed WR's from UT for years but never became a fan of that team.

Drew brees has been a top 3 qb in the league for a while now.
