I mean, maybe.Who knows what Seldon will turn into. Thomas is a massive upgrade over Keith though, and likely a good bit better than what Seldon would've been in 2025. I'll take it.
To be fair Keith ended up at App St.
Who is "they" in this scenario? Our coaches certainly haven't said that, but if the insiders on here have based on info they've gotten from coaches or others, then okay. But if not or if it's just from AP or the OPINIONS from insiders and not based on actual info they've gotten, then that's different. They've said all along we were looking for a "depth piece". I still don't understand purposely targeting lesser backs. Go get someone who can push for starting reps to motivate the guys already on the roster. Iron sharpens iron.
Know that they ran the same offensive schemes at Duke and UT. Learn something new everyday.I just felt like pulling this out of my ass for no reason and it has no real argument so don’t take this seriously.
Keith’s average against UTEP:
39 yards on 4 carries.
9.8 avg
Thomas average against UTEP:
42 yards on 7 carries
6.0avg
43 yards on 11 carries
4.3avg
Mic drop
Pro scouts find football talent at every level. He wasn't in the Witness Protection Program at Duke.Even as a rotational back here, he will probably get more attention from pro scouts than he would as a clear #1 RB at Duke. It's just the UT brand!! Look at Kamara!! I know they are worlds of difference but Kamara wasn't our #1RB even though he was a 5 star transfer from Bama before he went to Hutchinson CC. He hasn't done too bad. And again, I'm not comparing him to Kamara. I'm just saying the situation could be similar.
Bad comment. Seldon would’ve been in WR room and no college development for 2 years and several ahead of him. Hence why he oft for VT so still not in the RB room and Keith went down a level. This guy averaged 4 with a horrible OL. You need to get off the weed.Yeah, this over.
CB on On3.
Wish we could’ve kept Seldon or Keith
@Stoerner Fumbles seemed to indicate that "depth piece" is not a distinction the coaches even make.Who is "they" in this scenario? Our coaches certainly haven't said that, but if the insiders on here have based on info they've gotten from coaches or others, then okay. But if not or if it's just from AP or the OPINIONS from insiders and not based on actual info they've gotten, then that's different.
I don't see this young man being a serious challenger to be RB1. That is MY opinion. It could be wrong. I feel if you're going to bring in a RB, he should be pushing for that label. If he's not, why not just give the freshmen run?@Stoerner Fumbles seemed to indicate that "depth piece" is not a distinction the coaches even make.
