Tremendous win. Mark Williams is awesome. Feels a bit like late 2014 Duke-Wisconsin, with a young team coming off a bad season taking down an experienced Final Four team. Hope the season ends the same way.

First: I’m glad this is finally here

Second: Army recruiting sucks and I might have long spells of inactivity, but I’ll be reading. Not that any of you care

Third: analysis time. This Duke team is built to play against almost anyone. That in and of itself obviously bodes well. I could gush over Banchero here, but I feel like there will be plenty of time over the season to do so. Williams is a force that every team has to recognize and it opens up everything for this team.

Maybe it’s having his hs teammate (Keels) on the team, maybe it’s a year of learning from K, Scheyer, and Smith, or combo, but Roach looks remarkably improved and more like the player I watched at Paul VI. Hopefully as the season goes on, his stat lines look more like the way he’s playing. I think Keels will just get better and better too.

I don’t expect Moore to play this well all season, but I do hope he at least shows flashes of this all season.

I guess the light is never coming on for Baker. But he can provide minutes so there’s that. Curious how they develop and play John as the season progresses

This Duke team is deeper than usual and so many different ways they can play. Lack of a true 3 point threat is the most glaring weakness

Duke will probably finish the regular season undefeated and ranked #1 now because there isn't any good teams left on their schedule.

I see what your saying, but I doubt that. Duke already gets everyone’s best shot, this is especially true this season with it being K’s final season. Duke does have a good mixture of older and young guys, but it’s so hard to go undefeated . I would prefer Duke not to lose, but at the same time I don’t want them going into March undefeated. Virginia is the type of team that could give Duke fits with its pack line D.

Fun Fact of the day: Duke has been ranked #1 for 255 games under K compared to 161 games as an unranked team.

And boom goes the dynamite. Choke job by Duke. Didn’t score a single point in the last 4 minutes against Ohio St.

I know . I just loathe Ohio State fans and how they take over the beach all summer and always run their mouth. I don’t think I would be bothered as much if it were Indiana or Michigan State or someone.

I don't follow o state basketball, I am a UD flyer guy but, I do hear ohio sports radio, and they claim o state has a good team (maybe one of the better ones they ever had). I'll believe it when I see it, but they looked the part. Probably all seniors or something.

Duke/Unc related— Signing day .

Can someone please explain to me how in the hell UNC has the #8 ranked class in the country following a season where they were ranked preseason #10 and finished 6-6? I don’t get it.
