I think this staff could've developed in him a winning attitude and we could watch another former Vol have a nice professional career.

He also had disparaging comments for Kiffins pet gorilla who made calls to players advising them to not EE and go to USC with them. But you know how it is with VN fans, they forget the good of people and hang on like mad dogs to any wrongs real or imagined.

Pushed to the front too soo, he needed a chance to grow up on the bench but with the coach turnover he was the best QB for wins, with a UT Base calling for coaches head every over game thats how it needed to be. we have other QBs on this team that probably has done stupid things but since the spot light was on Bray it was never uncovered.

Bray will be depositing a large check into the bank in a few months... He did loose out.. Could have been bigger if the team was better, but what what is few hundred large among friends.

I know the D was terrible "this year", but I will just remember the loses. Sorry guys for me I am a TN fan first and bottom line is with him at QB and Dooley at coach, we lost. The worst time I can ever remember as a fan for consecutive years. Hey hope he does well, but I am not happy about the Bray years. Is what it is.

You're crazy if you think putting up 40 points on UGA and losing still (and several other examples) was on Bray

Let me make it very simple we lost with Bray at QB, we beat nobody of any value. Yes the defense was bad. I do not like the Bray years. The numbers mean nothing only thing that matters is winning. He played a part in the losing. Fell apart in many games. That team beat nobody with him at QB. Sorry that is the way a I feel. He could win 4 superbowls and I would still hate the Bray years, because TN lost. I don't know what is hard to understand about this.

Plenty if blame to go around. Mostly on the D, mainly on D. Cant put most of last years losses on the O. But, Bray had his chances late in a few games and couldn't close.

Blame himself for what? The fact that you don't feel sorry for him? Haha the things he has done that's "bad" that we've heard about, is just what he got caught doing...aging no telling how much hell them boys raise.. yeah feel sorry for him haha he's gonna be a NFL qb, but how can he live with his self if you don't feel sorry for him..he called u a Debbie downer because your a square not because you wont feel sorry for Bray.

I said "inexcusable"...as in not to be excused...the "drunken stupor" part is an "explanation" of why he committed an action for which there can be no excuse.

There is a difference between an excuse and an explanation. Look it up for yourself...

We're thankful for what he did, we are disappointed for what he didn't do (and a few things he did). So I don't really understand why we still discuss it?

The freshman throat slashing was cool at the time (maybe not the gesture itself, but the swagger was). Chest bumping about the same.

Beer bottle incident is inexcusable but a how many of us didn't do something stupid and even illegal in a college drunken stupor? I remember something about a late night Christmas tree excursion as a pledge that wouldn't have gone over well had we been caught.

His lack of emotion was frustrating at times, but he had already been called on the carpet for the throat slashing.

It seems worth thinking what would our feelings towards him be if he weren't here when we were all about ready to kick our dog over the overall state of the program? Or what if Hunter hadn't gotten hurt, or Da'Rick had stayed off the pot, or our D could've stopped ANYBODY last year?


Was he perfect? No. Neither was Casey (couldn't catch a shotgun snap in the rain), nor Crompton, nor, Andy Kelly, nor Jeff Francis...how much of a waste did T-Rob turn out to be? Even Peyton tea-bagged a female trainer. Who threw the ball out of the back of the end zone on 4th down in the Blue Bonnet Bowl (I think - been a few beers (or years) ago)? Was it Condredge or Streeter?

My point is, anybody that didn't win 9 or 10 games during this dark period has had to take a ton of crap from us attitude wise.

Just tossing it out there for discussion...
