It's behind reported by several media outlets that Peterman is working with the second team, Dobbs the third team.
No he isnt
According to the first few reports, Worley is running with the 1's and Peterman/Dobbs are splitting reps between the 2's and 3's.
Peterman seems to have made a move. In just the highlights shown here, he seems to be throwing it better than Dobbs.
Talk about a story... if Peterman overcame the UF game... that would be HUGE.
That's just dumb. The post before I thought you misunderstood... now it is obvious that you don't.I want him to work on becoming a very good coach someday.

Good grief... The kid was a very good recruit. He was one of the top rated QB's in the state of FL the year he graduated. He HAS physical talent. By ALL accounts, he's a high character, smart kid. If this staff can develop him... why on earth would ANY Vol fan not want him to become good enough to be a SEC starting QB?
Lots like Barnett and Hendrix are taking his time...Still early only day 4
Lot of mixing and matching going on right now, no depth charts publicly published by the coaching staff at this point. I'm not doubting that the media has reported that Peterman may have been "running with the second team" at points through the first 3 practices. I'm just saying there's very little to absolutely no chance that Peterman is now or will be at any point the 2nd string QB ahead of Dobbs.
Some guys can't do it while the band is playing. That kid was so nervous and tore up last year, I never want to see him take another snap. I could not care less about how highly rated he was. The big state schools didn't want him.
What do you base this on? Butch has said that it's an open competition, if he out performs both in fall camp, doesn't he get a shot at starting?
My gosh, Johnson is a project who hasn't played much football. I doubt he knows the nuances of playing the position. Hopefully we have somebody that can be a pass rush specialist and we can raise our level of play at the position that has been historically bad.
So let me see if I can follow that "logic". He was nervous and had a terrible outing in his 1st start, in the Swamp, against one of the best D's in the country, with a poor WR corps... and because of that you do not want to see him become a successful QB at UT?
That makes no sense whatsoever.
