Early Fall Camp Depth Chart

Looks like we watched the same game KB. Horrible is an understatement.

With that being said I'm not ready to give up on em. He has all the physical tools to be a really good qb.

I'm sure my post sounds awfully harsh and like I'm hating on the kid. That's not my intention. I'm just giving an honest assessment of his performance that day and how that factors in to this year's QB battle. Anybody who thinks that didn't put him so far behind the 8 ball that it's virtually impossible for him to recover is very naive IMO. Nathan is to be commended and admired for how he's handled everything and for the character he's displayed in continuing to work hard with a great attitude. But I just don't believe he'll ever take another meaningful snap at it's in an emergency situation.

Curt Maggitt on missing some practice this week: "I'm all good. Just some minor things. I'm just taking it a day at a time."

Maggitt MUST stay 100% healthily for this defense to make improvement this season, he is a team leader and an incredible presence when he is turned loose to rush the passer. He must be accounted for on every play. Unfortunately, for the Vols he seems injury prone.

Plus, I find it odd to see Elliot Berry on the depth chart instead of Evan Berry. Evan was the higher recruited prospect but not even on the 3 deep at DB? Is he sure it's Elliot Berry & not Evan?

It's Elliott. He is being groomed as a hybrid Nickel/Linebacker position which takes a unique player. Evan is in the mix to return kicks.

That surprises me a bit since Evan was more highly recruited. You mean Evan will probably only see the field this coming season as a returner? Do you think Elliot will be the better prospect in the end afterall? I would have thought Evan anyday over Elliot.

The real mystery of the fall camp is Sualberry's..I thought we would have been a lock to be a DT starter, guess still getting over injury.
