When God decides time is up, it will not matter what planet we are on. That could be tomorrow or it could be a billion years from now. Also humans are not going to out live the earth. Also there are no limits to God's abilities, regardless of what you might want to believe.
Keep believing that finding another planet to live on is important. Don't you think we should learn a lot more about our own planet before worrying about others?
there is a big rock coming this way that has Earth written on it,when they are going to meet,no one knows
for the human race to keep going,it is imperative that we explore and expand to other planets ,so researching earth like planets seems to be a very good idea to me
just think how short of a warning we had before Jupiter was struck years ago by several asteroids, that is a close call by galactic standards,it is going to happen,it is just a matter of when
if we are still on one planet, that will be the end of us humans,I think that research and exploration must happen,to insure that we humans have a future

What if they have a completely different version of the bible full of totally different events? What if there are many different earths in the universe? There could be a trillion other earths and if there are, who knows what God has done for them? Why do people put so many limits on God?
Maybe you can give us a short summary of what all that exactly means. I am sure I'm not alone, but I cant say I'm smart enough to understand much of it.Our civilization will progress as predicted and as others have. Maybe.
Kardashev scale.

Its extensions and proposed extensions with science fiction examples.
At some point a civilization will not be detectable everything they do will be perceived as nature or natural phenomenon.
A must read.
Its certainly possible if the technology is in place. The Earth or sun isn't going to die any time soon. We got millions of years to get the technology in place to colonize other planets. Also in millions of years planets that aren't stable and suitable for humans as of now, may be by then.So you think humans will out live the planet earth? Not likely.

Oh well thanks anyways. I guess I just don't have the will power to read it.Its a long read with links that should not be considered cursory links with even more reading. But hidden in its examples and straight fore explanations of what it means it actually gives a good overview. Just have the will power and or time to read it.
Because it's my opinion. I could be wrong, just like everyone else in this thread. Nobody knows what's going to happen.
