East Tennessee Weather II

From Morristown's latest AFD:

Confidence is high for mainly snow across the northern Plateau,
western half of the central and northern sections of the Great
Tennessee Valley into much of southwest Virginia. These is where 5
to 6 inches are expected with locally heavier amounts are
possible. The lowest confidence portion of this forecast is the
east side of the valley and southwest North Carolina. Enough warm
air advection may change the initial snow over to a wintry
mixture of snow, sleet, and possibly freezing rain. This wintry
mix may limit snow accumulations there.

Is the moisture farther south than anticipated or is it right on track for what folks were thinking yesterday?
Looks like the cold is farther South than expected. There will be some South winds that most likely will bring that snow line and ice line back North.

These winds could knock down snow totals for the Eastern/Southern valley this afternoon.
