WJHL local guys only saying 2 inches for Tri Cities...wow that is a lot lower than other models have shown

Wow...Mark Reynolds and the WJHL in house model still showing a max of 2" for TRI, if that. This would be a great coup for him and their computer.

I really won't be surprised by anything. Everybody is saying something different. Might wake up with nothing or 2 feet lol

8-12" tonight here in the Raleigh Durham area, with an additional 1-3 tomorrow morning. I didn't feel like going to work this week anyways.

Yeah ever since 1998 I've never trusted him. (I hold grudges, lol.) Was working that day, snow was supposed to turn to rain during the day at around 1 or 2 if I remember correctly. At 11pm, the city completely out of power for the most part, transformers blowing everywhere, 2 or 3 feet of snow on the ground, and 1200 911 calls in about 3 to 4 hours later - he was still saying it was going to turn to rain at any time now.

Yes it was that much, I was out in the crap trying to get to people. They ended up setting up a bunch of shelters. Yet what was weird was in Kingsport there was barely any snow on the ground. When I got home, I looked at my wife and was like wtf? She had no clue.

No offense to every one wanting snow - pfffft - you can have it. Unless I'm off. Then it's ok.

Vk has done a very good job. We'll probably get a little bit of snow in the knoxville area, but he never went crazy with snow totals like many people did.

The radar is solid blue, but no snow!

That's virga where the precipitation evaporates before coming to the ground. It will take a little while to moisten up the atmosphere. I'm in the Tri-Cities & around 7:30 PM they changed it from a Winter Storm Watch to a Winter Storm Warning.

They're saying 3"-5" for our immediate area but Rogersville in Western Hawkins County is supposed to get 6+ inches. I'm about 20-25 miles from Rogersville.
