Was at Matlock today, a Tesla was getting new shoe, I ask if it was because of the OEM tires, I just got a look

Most that I’ve seen come with tires with, at best, a 40k treadwear rating.

Best advice is to ditch the softer summer, Z rated rubber and put V or Y rated All Season tires on it.

The wife’s Y has 38k on it and I think it’s almost time to replace the tires again. First time was a little over 20k I think.

Why is Biden putting a 100% tariff on these cheap Chinese import EVs where all Americans can afford an EV? The environment is the most important thing isn't it? The environment is more important than saving left wing unionized jobs isn't it?...after all we're all going to be dead in about 8-9 years if nothing is done?

There are a couple in west Knoxville. One is the Aquaclear guy that advertises on Sports Animal 99 (it's wrapped with company info). I can't really call them ugly, because they are unlike anything else on the road. They do look like they just flew in and dropped from the moon. I haven't seen the interior or know much about the performance.

Not my cup of tea, but I guess they make sense for some people, especially if you have a bunch of expendable cash for toys.

Have officially confirmed I can use the Tesla supercharger network. Adapter works like a champ but the cables are so short. Oh well, we can attempt our road trip to TN this summer

I was planning to get one and even paid to get in line. Guy at the office has one and I'm no longer interested. Wiper, headlights, back window, etc just not for me. They definitely have a look at me factor though since I only found out he got one thru our group chat at work.

I can't imagine trying to get one repaired if you were in a wreck

Talked to a guy this weekend who brought one of the Hummer EVs and is trying to unload it. His experience is that it’s the biggest POS on the road, no range, can’t pull anything and using any of the cool off road features kills the battery so quick you can’t use them.

That's exactly how I expected them to turn out. Batteries just aren't there, yet.
