According to Rob Lewis Elliott told K that he was headed to Duke, told our staff he was headed to Duke, and the only reason he wasn't reporting it as solid fact was because he hadn't personally talked to Elliott.

u never know what will happen between now and friday.. i thought i read somewhere that his parents had told the media that he had not decided on a school yet and that was this morning, no way u can tell me he made up his mind and he and his parents let this info leak out in a matter of hours

If this turns out to be some ploy to throw everyone off of the scent...

Well first i will laugh, and second I will laugh some more at the egg on all the faces of the major media.

they have him as a commitment on rivals but hopefully his decission isnt full yet but sounds like he may be a dukey.

i see what your saying, but i am just not convinced yet until i get the official from his PC on Friday... we'll see if tomorrow goes by without him having a press conference because if it is true then there would be no point in waiting til friday right?... o yea and if this does turn out to be true then i will officially hope Elliot's career at Duke turns out worse then JJ's as far as team accomplishments

thats what i think it is.. he said he wants to go to the school where he was most comfortable with the coaches and players right??????

this is BS, and by that i mean Elliot is pulling some legs out there, i dont think he meant for it to blow up this big but he has to want to come to UT

Classic denial. This stinks, but its not the end of the world. We still got Woolridge, and look to be in good standing with McDonald for next year.

o ok, well i guess u cant argue that if he made comments on it... o well its cool.. Forget Elliot then, i pray to God we get the opportunity to play against EW a few times during his career at Duke

i really hope so, i really really hope so, I dont wanna say this right now but i will go ahead and assume these reports are a fact and say I HATE Elliot Williams... not as a person because he is a good guy, but as far as him suiting up in a Blue Devils uniform he will be hated by me and many other Vol fans

The only we play Duke is in the tournament. Bruce tried to get a home and home with them. K refused. He doesn't like playing good teams outside the state of NC on a regular basis.
