You mean other than the fact that all of the numerous college coaches I know would be perfectly happy if he walked in front of a bus?
Message board posters or D-I coaches? Gee, who should I trust?I'm not sure where you are getting your info about Easterwood, but he has been nothing but respectable whilst posting on the Tennessee forums. Everything I've heard about the man is positive, and he seems to have a huge disregard for those that try to use their influence to sway prospects' decisions. Pearl seems to have no qualms about associating himself with Keith, and I don't think that Pearl would associate himself with someone who is dirty or untrustworthy.
Should I talk to Fulmer before I label him a pious rube? Is a face to face discussion necessary before I determine George W. Bush to be a mentally deficient warmonger? I can't imagine that a discussion with Mr. Easterwood would modify my opinion. To change said opinions, he would have to refute certain things I've been told and have every reason to believe are true. It's a credibility contest he wouldn't have much of a chance of winning, given that I am predisposed to believing what I have heard previously.Hat, actually talking to the man one might be the proper thing to do before labeling him a "professional parasite and douchebag."
This could help us alot in the race for Elliott.....:dance2:
Neil says will play for UTC - Chattanooga Times Free Press - Breaking News in Chattanooga, TN. Classifieds and Top Stories
Neil said she dates Memphis St. George's rising senior Elliot Williams, whom Rivals.com recently named the nation's No. 2 shooting guard prospect. Williams said last month that Duke, Memphis, Tennessee and Virginia were all even on his final four list.
"I talked to him for over an hour before I made my decision, and he really helped me," Neil said. "I hope he asks me for my honest opinion, too. Of course I want whatever's best for him, and if that's Duke or Virginia, great.
"But obviously I'd like him close to me in Tennessee, if that works out."
Considering Virginia and Memphis are pretty much out , leaving us and Duke, I'd say we have a VERY good shot to get both his parents and his girlfriends vote!

so is that signing day for the 08 class? in Nov?
Yes the Early Signing Period for Basketball is in November and it will last a week or so. This is for the majority of the kids who will have a decision made by then. When Elliott WIlliams will sign.
Then the Late Signing Period is in April and it will also last a week. This is for the Patrick Pattersons and the Lucas kid type that love the attention and dont have a decision made. When Chris Singleton will probably sign. :birgits_giggle:
Singleton and Williams will both be in Knoxville for official visits for the UT-UGA game October 6th. It wouldn't surprise me if they both committed that weekend.
Is there any set time that Williams is planning on making an announcement?
All we know right now is that he has visits set up with UT and Duke with UT getting the latter visit from Williams during the UGA game and Coach K getting the last in home visit... so hopefully he will make a commitment sometime between his visit to our campus and the in-home visit from Pearl, because that sort of scares me that Coach K gets the last in-home visit
