and why is that? First he's in-state. Second, Tennessee is ranked higher than Duke right now. Besides, it's not like he's gonna have a Neyland experience at a Duke football game.
In recent history, how many national championships does Tennessee have? Final Fours? Sweet Sixteens? NCAA berths? All-American players? Players playing in the NBA?

If football game experiences during recruiting visits were that much of a factor, the numbers for my questions above would be reversed for UT and Duke.
Obviously, Neyland alone is not going to get a basketball recruit to come to UT instead of Duke, but it still helps, maybe just a little, but it helps.
What are chances if we land Elliot, Singleton, and McDonald? I think they are very good.
