Also, if you were personally butt-hurt by the hiring of CBJ, you really need to get a mental evaluation. I am a huge UT fan, but I would never let it affect me the way it has affected some of you.

By the way, most of the folks I am talking about couldn't successfully coach a fish to a victory at a swimming tournament... and yet they (and their 67 average IQ) are now qualified as experts to advise a major university with a multi-million dollar budget on leadership. I can imagine most of these folks can't lead themselves off of their 1972 worn out couch in their trailer.

The bottom line is that it is football. If you let it have this much control over your life, you are a dolt. Plain and simple. Go eat Cheetos and drink cheap beer.

You really think the people running UT for the last 10 years have done better? Do I even have to go through all the revolving doors and musical chairs of upper administration? It's there, just do the research. It's abundantly clear we don't have any Andy Holt's or Joe Johnson's in the UT administration. That's the problem.

I understand. But Hart is there to direct athletics and his position was just replaced about a yr ago, so there are expectations. I personally am glad that we at least got a guy who wants to be here. And his resume is as good as anybody we could actually get. But harts handling of this was rough.....to put it mildly. The Public perception of the athletics at this university has not made up any ground under his watch.

I still don't understand why you believe Hart botched the search. Give me your three top reasons as to why you think he screwed it up.

The only thing negative I have to say about Jones is that he runs his offense out of the spread using primarily zone reads. He throws the football more, though, than most spread teams, so that's a plus. I've always wanted a Tennessee team that ran the ball out of the power set for so long that it hurts. Maybe he will change his offense now that he's in the SEC and therefore realizes that unless you're Urban Meyer running the spread at Florida with all-world athletes, he's going to become another casualty of the speed rushes and fast secondaries of teams like Saban's Alabama team, or Muschamp at Florida, or Miles' LSU team.

:rock:The Man wanted the job, didnt run from it or was scared of, by the SEC like STRONG, and these stupid people that thought Gruden, Chuckie makes fun of vol fans, not a true VOL fan if bashing coach before he has chance.
