As are most hotels in Miami. Occupancy rates have been down the last few years in June because they opened so many high end hotels and also many Hilton properties adding about 27,000 more rooms to Miami and surrounding area. To many keys, not enough occupants. They took a hard hit 2 years ago over zika. That was the entirety of the service chains not just one.

The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announced a record-breaking 16.5 million overnight visitors in 2018 this week, up +3.5 percent compared to 2017, along with 6.8 million Day Trippers for a total visitor number of 23.3 million.
According to the organization, a record-breaking visitor volume led to an economic impact of nearly $18 billion, fueled mostly by international visitors who contributed an estimated +54 percent of the total economic impact.

In 2018, the travel and hospitality sector employed a record 142,100 people while Greater Miami’s hotel market ranked in the top 10 among the top 25 hotel markets in the U.S. according to STR.

They reopened the Miami convention Center, I'm sure that helped. I was actually looking at Miami dade and not just greater Miami.

Who in the hell goes to Miami in June when the place is on fire? I'm sure Alaska does a booming tourist business in January as well. I think Trump needs to move this little muckety muck meeting to West Virginia. Let the rest of the world see how well the war on coal worked out for them.

I’m not sure how many “ family bussiness” pools all their monies and has 20 shell companies? I’m just going out on a limb here and saying Biden Inc has done well from foreign investors . If we weren’t talking about Trump you’d be right out here on this limb with me . You are eat up with everything Trump just like the rest .

Write yourself in . I’ll give you more credit than most , at least you are kind of saying the quiet part outloud. This whole Trump is evil and will ruin our democracy while literally watching a doddling old fool walk around the room looking for ghosts to shake hands with and us knowing his whole azz faimily is corrupt , has just gotten beyond ridiculous.

Biden is too old. I'd loathe Harris as POTUS.

Trump was never a good idea for the position and he'd be worse this time around with his vendetta agenda.

Nobody knows if he would have a vendetta, they started the Russian lie about him before took office last time and he didn’t really do anything crazy about it . The smart thing would have been just to leave the popular populist alone and let him fade away but the left chose a different route so I guess we will probably see what happens

Agreed, but a longer time isn’t necessarily a good thing when talking about Biden and China , Iran , Russia , Pakistan , and the Red Sea . Just cross your fingers and hope Giggles isn’t needed to step up before the election .
