Man, if that don't scream "NIL socks deal"...!...The 18-year-old went on to compete in a football camp put on by the NFL in Abuja, Nigeria where he stood out in more ways than one. "By the way, he did the whole camp without cleats. It was crazy. He ran the 40-yard dash in his socks and still blew everyone away. I couldn’t believe it… he finished a three day camp with no cleats."
I remember being in one of Dayton's mill outlet stores back in the '70s with a friend who was looking for something with his college team on it, and hearing the elderly lady tell him, "Naw, sorry. Besides Tennessee, all we got are the factory reject Arkansas Go Hogs."The ones that were in Cleveland are long gone, not sure about Dayton
I would imagine that they put him through some WR drills to have offered him as a TE. Right now this kid is just a freakish athlete. If he commits to us, we'll see how and where that translates on the field. You really can't be anymore raw as a college football prospect than this kid presently. There's so many good players this cycle at TE.
The most i can ever remember.
Did the staff work him out at TE when he was here??
I would say Heard is certainly in that boat as well.I would imagine that they put him through some WR drills to have offered him as a TE. Right now this kid is just a freakish athlete. Why are you hating on this kid so much? First it was he was too soft to play DE in the SEC based on your plethora of knowledge far exceeding the staff’s. Then once you found out he’s being recruited as a TE, that was fine by you. Now you’re back on him again questioning whether he’s been worked out at the position that he was offered a D1 scholarship? Take a step back dudeThere's so many good players this cycle at TE.

Nice and thought provoking postUnless it's a very sophisticated (for someone not from this hemisphere) language feint, "Y'all stay tuned" would seem to rule out USC.
My biggest worry is the Texas-Nigeria petro connection: Nigeria has the 10th largest oil reserves in the world. Educationally, Texas Tech could be offering something uniquely of lifelong value and patriotic importance to Emmanuel.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a “stretch”.Unless it's a very sophisticated (for someone not from this hemisphere) language feint, "Y'all stay tuned" would seem to rule out USC.
