It’s true. I had to buy a case of 20lbs of chicken breasts through my food vendor for $100.00, and we get special pricing because we are classified as healthcare. A month ago, it would have cost less than half that. It wasn’t even my target chicken order, but what I was left with. Eggs are also going up. I don’t know what they are at the grocery store, but for 15 flats, I’m buying them at 3 times what I had to a couple of months, and I buy 60 flats a week.Have been here too Blaming it on lack of truck drivers of all things
I get most of our toiletries, coffee, toothpaste, and stuff like that at WM. My wife prefers their ginger too. I go to Sam’s for meat purchases. I typically just go with the place that has the best deal for a product.Walmart has better ginger root and it's way cheaper. I buy my coffee there for almost half the price. One brand of Olive oil, distilled water, Kinders spices, aluminum foil, sugar free church candy, avocados, Metamucil, deodorant, tooth .....anyway, all that stuff is alot cheaper than Publix and Amazon.
Where do you guys buy toiletries, paper products etc?
I used to buy meat at Winn Dixie, now if I buy any I get it at Mario's. I buy most of my seafood from Merrick in Cape Coral.
Blah blah blah, I spread the wealth!!

food, energy, and certain commodities (like lumber) were removed from the consumer price index which allows the fed to maintain a fiction that inflation is low enough to avoid increasing interest rates. We're gonna have to pay for shutting down the economy for a year and half. Personally, I'd rather have austerity now and get it over with. Of course, I've been a good squirrel. I don't know if the snowflake generation could handle a repeat of the 1970s economy. It’s true. That works for someone that can do that for themselves and their family, but doesn’t work in the world of monthly work budgets, it suxs on that end.food, energy, and certain commodities (like lumber) were removed from the consumer price index which allows the fed to maintain a fiction that inflation is low enough to avoid increasing interest rates.
