They are more talented. I just feel like we need to be more aggressive in certain situations.

Essentially we’ve been hiding our secondary the best we can all year by being aggressive. For whatever reason we decided not to be as aggressive on passing downs once SB got that running TD. But yeah I thought we would try to duplicate what Missouri did to UGA. They had SB rattled and we didn’t. With that said, we did hold them to 27 and I honestly thought that would be enough. I never imagined we would only score 13.

The situations Heupel and Kirby Smart inherited are not even close to the same.

Kirby inherited a loaded roster.

Heupel took over an average of three stars sprinkled with some 4 & 5s coming off an 3-7 season.

Tennessee wasn't ready for this game atmosphere , Kirby had a defensive plan that SHUT the Vols down, he outcoached Heupel, doesn't mean Heupel is a bad coach, just shows this offense can be stopped. Kirby also exposed our weak secondary. Tennessee needs a few more recruiting classes and continuous evolution of the offense so they can compete with Georgia.

Had no idea we had so many experienced football coaches on here. Maybe some of you should apply for a position on the staff. I’m sure Heupel and Banks would welcome being told they’re been doing it wrong all this time after going through the gauntlet 8-1 with the only loss to the defending NC at their place.

Okay and Bama has just as much talent as UGA has. And we put up 52. At a certain point, you just gotta tip your hat. Still takes coaching to get the potential out of those 5 stars you know. I can’t stand Kirby but how do you not give credit? He held us to 6 freaking points the majority of the game. SIX

Bama didn’t play man because they aren’t as good. UGA has a better roster than Bama. If bama could have play us man like UGA did and brought pressure to disrupt HH the result would have been the same .

I'm more disappointed by the fact that we didn't look good. Losing wasn't a shocker--but our weak offensive play in such a hyped game, after all the hype our offense had generated, was surprising. Depressing, actually.

UGA is one of very few defenses that can do what they did to UT. No one has the all over the field talent on defense that they do.

Do you really think UGA has that much more talent than Bama does? Not a great argument you’re making. Heupel has done a good job this year but he crapped the bed today, as did Hooker, the O-line, the secondary, pretty much the whole team.

Yes they do. Forget star ratings and watch them play. Bama has lost a step.

If you blitz but leave a cushion you're just creating an area throw into. I don't think they could play man any worse than zone.

I wish they were true but we don’t have enough DB talent to play either scheme well. Got to get some recruits or transfers.

I'm not comparing them. Just saying anyone who thinks Kirby isn't a very good coach either has no knowledge of football or is just a hater who won't admit Kirby is a good coach.

I’ll be totally honest with you, and this hurts me to say….I thought we set the tone by kicking the field goal on the first drive we had after the fumble when it was for a fourth down we typically go for.
I do agree agree with you about never bringing pressure on D but they only gave up 27 and our vaunted offense only put up 13. There is a massive outlier here.

Cmon. Georgia took their foot off the gas in the second half. They knew they could stop us and decided to just milk the clock.
