Yeah, his uncle is a freshman there. Thats a first for me. He really raved about Texas, and Jamaal Charles left. Texas has several highly touted backs on their roster, but it probably doesn't faze him. He's pretty confident, I read somewhere he said if he went to UF he was sure they would change their offense, and have Tebow lineup under center all the time.

I think Scott will go to Texas. The talks about him coming here came from an article on Scout.

question: will davis have a redshirt year here or does the year at hargrave take that possibility away?

He can still RS, i think. I see Davis going to AU, that's who he commited to out of HS and i think that's where he'll end up.

there no reason to red shirt him he only has 4 yrs of elgiblity i believe since he played this yr at prep school

he just decommited from auburn...said he didn't want to play in the spread...I've heard it's us or oregon.

I think Scott may end up at Colorado. Dan Hawkins is actually the guy who built Boise St... and Scott has an uncle or cousin that plays for the Buffs.

I made a post earlier in this thread about the Rivals article you can't read.

Basically Davis was impressed with Oregon's facilities but he plainly stated he did not come close to committing. He said he was excited to visit Tennessee, talk to the coaches about how they would use him in our program and check out the facilities.

At one time I thought he might go to Ole Miss, but their name hasn't been mentioned much lately. They also have 2 or 3 backs that have committed already.

I said it earlier and I am sticking to my guns. I think we get this guy and I think there is a huge chance Quiton Coples - DE comes with him.

He also stated in that article they have discussed going to the same school and Coples visited last weekend. He has spoke to Coples about the visit which he enjoyed and is going to talk to him more.

I feel like he will commit early next week after his visit.

No way does he take away Arian's starting position. It just isn't going to happen unless Arian's knee surgery is more serious than we know about.
