Espn doing their thing against Tennessee again

Oh, no, she is decidedly NOT an SEC fan. She really does not like the SEC, and particularly does not like that the SEC is stronger than all other conferences. She plays champion for the "underdog conferences" all the time.

She went to school at Indiana University. But iirc she has become closely aligned with the ACC thanks to many years of covering them.

I will take your word for it because i might be thinking of someone else, but I swear when she was pregnant she was a huge georgia fan... like die hard. posting a lot on social at that time. I might be thinking of someone else tho. Maybe my memory is failing me.

I said before the year that I couldn’t see anyone beating Georgia on their schedule unless it was us. I still will say that about the playoffs. Idk that anyone can beat Georgia but I feel like this team has the best shot in the country.

Ohio State can stfu they struggled with northwestern, Georgia will name the score against that team. Michigan is the same imo although I think they beat Ohio State.

Maria Taylor, perhaps? She used to cover SEC football, and IS a huge Georgia fan.

LSU beating Georgia for the SEC title 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (gasp) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Tigers are playing good ball since we slapped them and woke them up but they don’t have the horses to beat the dawgs. Tigers will have 3 losses and that title game will be a whooping. Kirby won’t let them falter to a two loss team.

Bama was teetering on the brink of a loss this season and the Vols were the shove over the edge. LSU punched them on their fall.
With no Rings to play for this season I won’t be overly surprised if Bama loses another game this year. Nicky may even have a tough time inspiring them to show some heart and determination the rest of the way.🤷‍♀️

The lady I'm thinking of was shorter, with dark hair and white. She is also very well respected and in finbaum's circle, but I'm not going to go digging around rn. This was pandemic years. She was pregnant and on twitter wearing her georgia gear and all. Screaming georgia at the top of her lungs... I just remember it, so I might have her mixed up with someone else. Is she married to a georgia man?

ESPN has and always will be completely FOS. Oregon would go into the playoffs if the committee was forced to put them there and I mean forced to put them there. No one in the country outside of Oregon fans is clamoring to see a rematch of that beat down. Unfortunately I think USC is a different situation and could get in if they won out.

I think only a handful of teams can make the playoffs and they’re:
1)Georgia who basically has punched their tickets.
2)Michigan who will play Ohio State for who gets in. If that game is very close you could see a situation where two big ten teams get in.
3)Ohio State see above with Michigan
4)TCU doubt they go undefeated and still if they do Tennessee has a legit argument to jump them. Michigan and Ohio State loser also has a legit argument being ranked higher.
5)Tennessee has wins over lsu and Bama who will both finish high. Only loss is to Georgia who should finish the overall #1
6)USC say what you will but they are a huge brand and would bring in the west coast market as well. Should still be ranked higher but if they run the tables and win an extra game in conference title they could jump us.

Complete anarchy is if lsu beats Georgia somehow.

Don't take everything they say personally, they hate all the teams. They look for any click bait they can find as profits for Disney dwindle. The Disney group is in a tailspin and will grab onto anything to stop them from sinking.

So we are all now talking about a Heather Dinich piece. Please don't give this troll what she wants, and that is our attention. I see people speak about things on sports media many times a day. Many of these people purposefully spout the most outrageous statements only for attention. I'm sure at some point you have heard something from Steven A. Smith. Using the twitter platform gives her the opportunity to show her bosses at ESPN that she is getting traction. Roll your eyes, but please, do not take this as journalism. I find true journalism is very hard to find these days.

If possible #7/8 LSU team gives a #1 Georgia their only loss of the entire season. Not sure how you NOT put LSU in that 3/4 position. The reality is that if you rank all three head to head they tie BUT because TN and GA are in SAME DIVISION we are bottom.
Do you guys get that or nah?

She has about as much influence on the selection as my dog, and is less attractive.
Herbstreit is the voice that threatens us the most. He's already put something on Twitter about Oregon being ahead of us, which is nonsense considering how we played against our common opponent.

Nope. Non-conference games matter. LSU lost to Florida State. Something the author of this piece thinks the committee should just ignore.

Considering the three-way head-to-head tie, you have to consider where the game was played. LSU got destroyed by us at home. Our loss to UGA was on the road. And UGA's loss (hypothetically) would be on a neutral field. Therefore, we should hold the advantage.

Conference championships are not automatic qualifiers. Never have been.

Herbstriet IS an OSU hommer. I can promise you that. If he sees you as competition there is a reason for it.

So in her schenario, she thinks a 2 loss LSU makes it and Tennessee doesn’t, even though one of their losses was to a 11-1 Tennessee on their home field? And Tennessee’s loss was on the road to the #1 team in the CFP??

She’s not very smart if that m’s her theory

Maye Heather Dinich is just a bit of an air head

As for Herbsteit, I have seen a lot of "it's a toss up between Tennessee and TCU", right or wrong.

Best for us if the fake UT beats TCU in a couple weeks

People are overthinking this. If Tennessee wins out they need one of two things to happen. TCU lose a game or the P12 champ to have 2 losses. Either of those happen, and Tennessee is in good shape.

Heather Dinich is a hack. If you’ve ever listened to her on ESPN radio, you know she’s bad. And not cause she’s a woman, she’s just bad.

The only P12 team I'm worried about is USC. Their only loss is a 1 point road loss to Utah. Notre Dame will likely be ranked when they play USC, so the Trojans could finish the season with wins over UCLA (ranked), ND (ranked), and Oregon (highly ranked). In that scenario, I think the P12 conference championship is enough to put them in over Tennessee.
