I don't think the tOSU v Michigan game has to be that big of a blow out. In fact, I could see a scenario with two SEC teams and two Big 10 teams. If I'm being perfectly honest... that might very well be "justice" this particular season. The Big 12 and ACC outright suck. There are no G-5 teams that belong. And a Pac12 team would need to impress... starting with USC beating ND convincingly. Oregon has a "romantic" appeal to voters for some reason but they serve as proof along with Utah of how the Pac12 compares to the SEC this year. Utah who lost to a middling at best UF team plays Oregon this week. If they win then they're very likely to play in the Pac12 CG.
If UGA and tOSU look like the "top" right now then UT looks like a team that would be favored against most if not all of the rest.
Like I wrote in another post, to me this is UT playing with house money. I don't think anyone seriously expected UT to come this far, this fast. I was looking for 9 regular season wins. Many said 8. I believe more said less than 8 than more than 9. It would be silly to be disappointed with a NYD6 bowl and a one loss season after where UT has been for the past 15 years... but really the past 20 years.
I think you are looking at UT in a vacuum when we have to look at them in comparison to everyone who is not UGA. In that light, they may still be one of the 4 best teams in CFB right now.
