From ESPN

The Vols could be in for real trouble with this one. Butch Jones isn’t doing himself any favors bringing in a program that’s won 28 games over the past three seasons. And considering the fact that Tennessee doesn’t return a single starter on the offensive or defensive line, doesn’t have an established quarterback and will be coming off a tough season-opener against a Utah State team that won nine games a season ago, it’s a safe bet that Arkansas State will be getting everyone’s full attention.

What do you think?

I think it's the off-season and these guys have to create new stories for the next 4 months.

Coach Jones should have everyone of these negative ESPN articles posted on the wall for the whole team to see during offseason workouts. I do believe he is the type of coach that uses stuff like this to help motivate players and is a great tool to use.

because I could give a flip about an opinion of some random dude at a cubicle who hasn't seen either team practice. And it's May 5th. Auburn was not in the espn preseason top 30 and went to the title game. They don't know anything.

I agree. When you have college football shows on every day of every week, they have to create stories. Tomorrow it will be another story.

None of it means squat.

we see this every single year guys. Cincy, Montana, WKU, NCSU. They love to point out how we dont have starters coming back. its not like all the guys on the lines havent played. they also dont point out that Utah State has the least amount of starters returning in FBS football. Or that ASU lost about 11 starters themselves and only have about 2 returning DL from the entire 2 deep. We will be better than people think IMO.

That a random lower-tier blog article on a major sports site says this one could be an upset or a trap game?

I kind of hope they don't give it more attention than it deserves honestly (which is like zero).

these guys do no homework. Just another guy telling us how we dont have returning linemen starters. But doesnt say a thing about the other teams issues. Thats because when you see what the other teams lose this whole angle the reporter is taking is not accurate at all. He sitting at his cubicle looking at 2013 schedule results and writing a dumb article based on that. Hasnt seen either team nor does he have a clue what the other teams personnel looks like in 2014.
