ESPN now making fun of us

First it was Chris Fowler and the mule comment. Then, over the years, they have made it major headlines out of something minor such as the "cheating scandle", blasted TN and kept the news popping about Fulmer and the Alabama saga-really played up that win in 05 and every team they feature that has played us they ALWAYS show that teams highlights against us. Now, this morning they were actually chuckling when talking about Gruden and the Tennessee fan base constantly talking his name and basically said Gruden coming here is a pipe dream!

Who gives a s*** about espn? Once we start winning like we are accustomed to espn will be back to kissing our a@@ like they did in the late 90's early 00's.

It is comical to really believe that Gruden is going to coach at a collegiate level. I hope most fans are not the unrealistic clowns that post on this site so they are not crushed when Tennessee is lucky enough to get someone like Al Golden.

Don't forget that we were removed from the College Gameday theme song and even the video. I only watch ESPN, because they broadcast so many games.

I won't go as far as to say they hate us, but the evidence is there. I, too, have noticed the Team X vs Vols highlights. They even use opponent's highlights from games that we won. I don't care if ESPN hates us, but, if they do the feeling is mutual.

How dare espn take Gruden's name in vain (unless he turns us down).

Well said. It is awful to think that a realistic individual would post something here. You are the type of person that gives the fanbase a bad reputation. You bash kids, coaches and administrators with a lot more knowledge of the game and experience with college football than you could dream of. Do you not realize people read this site and see it as representation of the fanbase?

Maybe they play highlights against the Vols because there are so many highlights of other teams sticking it to the Vols?

He's got a 50/50 chance of being right about Gruden, no body knows a darn thing about what Gruden is going to do but Gruden himself.

Perhaps, but it does seem to happen quite a bit. Some of the highlights aren't even that impressive. I'm not talking about the embarassments of this year, and I don't think the OP is either. This goes back years and years.
