He denied even talking to UT today, so theres your proof, Gruden himself said it wont happen.

I have never heard anyone who claims ESPN hates UT give a coherent rationale for the assertion - irrational, yes but rational, no. They're a profit driven enterprise and how does "making fun of us" generate profits? If you're a 27/7/365 enterprise, someone is going to make a derisive comment (real or probably imagined) at some point about the program but that's hardly a concerted effort to disparage UT. Grow up and deal with the fact that most sports fans around the nation don't have a thought about UT one way or another ever. And at the current state of the program, that number is growing.

A co-worker, who was wearing his UT shirt and cap, once ran into Fowler at hotel during a bowl game (remember those days). Fowler did have a real dislike for Tennessee. Who knows why, but Fowler can't stand UT. I think he was the one that made the comment that Peyton Manning was trolling the "trailer parks for Heisman votes."

I agree, I never watch ESPN except for a game. All of them think that their opinion is important and it really is not. Why waste your time?

What was his exact words? Does anyone have the clip of him saying it? I know it had to do with all the emails pertaining to them pushing Woodson over Manning. I never figured out why ESPN didn't fire him over that. Most companies would. I do however remember the 2002 game day-they had them up on the ramp of one of the parking garages-wher there wasn't much room for fans to gather around!

They were laughing this morning when they mentioned some fans were calling to bring Fulmer back. Litteral chuckling! And on TN fans obsession with Gruden.

It was more that we can't get a coach and how dangerous this job is to anyone's career. Then asked if we made the right decision in letting Fulmer go. 1 win in the against Kentucky is enough to make anyone laugh.

dude they don't have to make fun of us, we are making ourseleves look like the laughing stock of the SEC. scott van pelt said earlier today hart was running this show like a circus. when you let a clown lead and pick your coach you get what you get.

While it appears SVP is correct in that assertion, I don't pay much attention to him. He trashes the SEC every chance he gets, calling the fans "delusional" for thinking the SEC is superior to all others. I can't stand listening to him anymore; he spends the entire show trying to make witty comment after witty comment. He just comes across as an arrogant tool.

I'm sure it's probably on Youtube. He basically said that it had created a trailer park frenzy when Woodson won the Heisman over PM.

Maybe ESPN keeps showing highlights against the Vols is cuz they gave up 40 touchdown plays a game.

Espn is full of staff with the "gift of gab" and failed coaches. Most of them haven't broke a sweat in 6 months... well maybe over a game of checkers. I pay no mind to what comes out of their blow-hole.:rolleyes:
