ESPN now making fun of us

I would dare say that's a first. A college coach owning part of an NFL team. Hmmmm?

Until UT does something memorable in the NOW, we are irrelevant in the future. They tried to hype us verses UF this year, and we all saw how that turned out.

Don't forget that we were removed from the College Gameday theme song and even the video. I only watch ESPN, because they broadcast so many games.

I won't go as far as to say they hate us, but the evidence is there. I, too, have noticed the Team X vs Vols highlights. They even use opponent's highlights from games that we won. I don't care if ESPN hates us, but, if they do the feeling is mutual.

Dooley's Vols have given our opponents plenty of highlights to work with.

It is comical to really believe that Gruden is going to coach at a collegiate level. I hope most fans are not the unrealistic clowns that post on this site so they are not crushed when Tennessee is lucky enough to get someone like Al Golden.

We won't even get Al Golden. The only Golden that we get will be Trae Golden.
We will end up with Jones from Cincinnati and that is horrible. We fire Dooley and pay his buy out, then hire a coach that is maybe slightly better than Dooley....

If we kept up with every little detail and word spoken against TN then we would be chasing our tail everyday. Its just not worth it.

On the flip side, there are a lot of positive things spoke for the university everyday. We need to focus there. If we focus on only the negative then we empower the negative.

Would I be upset if a player just happened to run out of bounds and just happened to run over a non female ESPN analyst with the last name of Fowler or Herbstreet? No.

i have noticed that too, any highlight on players or a team and it is showing them scoring against us.

If UT isn't talking to Gruden, they should make a public statement saying he will not be the next coach. They could put all the Gruden talk to rest in 2 minutes. It's really unfair to the next coach if UT doesn't shoot down the Gruden talk. The only way UT should remain silent is if Gruden is actually in play.

Truth!

You know ESPN cost Payton the heisman. They don't like Tennessee never have never will. On the Gruden deal I will believe it when I see it. Not getting my hopes up.

Agree 100 percent
Hart isn't doing anyone any favors by letting this Gruden talk continue to gain momentum

How did Fulmer get lazy? The guy just hired the wrong offensive coach and got fired for it before he could make a change. His recruiting classes were fine before he got fired. Usually top 10 in the country. The bad year in 08' he was fired. Don't act like he was a bad coach. And yes, the reason he is not coaching now is because schools don't like his age, and he was getting paid by us, not because he sucks.

Well he did put on 50 lbs after the NC and made about half the recruiting visits he did before. Recruiting got easier and he realxed cant blame him. I heard this from a booster, John Lewis in Smyrna Tn.

What so they can make the trolls happy on message boards. They gain NOTHING by saying he wont be the next coach, whether he is or not. Stop acting like 5 year olds on Christmas eve......:banghead2:

Gruden is a valuable asset to espn. Of course they are gonna talk chit and try to debunk any rumors of him going to UT. Its all business.
