ESPN NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski allegedly lashed out at Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, over Hawley’s criticism of the NBA and China.

“F**** you,” Wojnarowski told Hawley, according to a screenshot posted to the senator’s Twitter feed Friday. (RELATED: Josh Hawley Calls For International Investigation Into China Over Alleged Coronavirus Cover-Up)

“No amount of profit can justify collaborating with a regime for which violent suppression and enslavement are routing tools of governance,” Hawley wrote.

Silver said in June that he hopes the league can find “mutual respect” with the Chinese government.
An ESPN official told the Daily Caller that they were looking into Wojnarowski’s email.

The USA Basketball people better be looking into college players filling next years Olympic team as China likely won't be letting the NBA field Team USA with NBA players.
the US should just not have an Olympic team for anything if its in scummy China

So I take it Hawley supports complete sanctions of China? Pretty radical.

U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley Invites ESPN Chief Jimmy Pitaro to Washington to Discuss China

U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley (R, MO) has invited ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro to Washington to discuss his association with the NBA, who is partnered with one of the most significant human rights abusers in the world, China.

Senator Hawley sent a shock wave through the world of sports on Friday by criticizing the NBA for allowing woke, Black Lives Matter slogans to appear on jerseys. Instead, Hawley challenged the league to use pro-American or pro-police slogans.

Hawley sent a formal letter to NBA chief Adam Silver asking him why the league is so concerned about social justice causes in America, but is entirely uncritical of China.

The letter has also apparently spurred an avalanche of ESPN and Disney lobbyists to flood the senator’s office with communications.

The flood of communications goaded Sen. Hawley to offer a sit down with ESPN chief Jimmy Pitaro.

“My phone has been ringing off the hook with lobbyists from @espn, from @Disney, the works. Let’s make this simple. I’m inviting ESPN CEO Jimmy Pitaro to Washington. My office. Let’s sit down and discuss ESPN, #China, the @NBA. Look forward to his response,” the Missouri Republican wrote.

No doubt these discussions will take place with large bags of cash on the table between the two gentlemen brought by the ESPN CEO. 🤔

I have barely watched it. In addition to James turning me off to it, you might as well be watching a selfish WWE event with the phantom defense and the not worth it anymore All Star game.
I start watching when the playoffs start.
