I can only imagine the disappointment of the ETSU fans when they realize they could have had Jon Gruden if not for that meddling AD and chancellor.

Do they have stoves at Dixie BBQ? even a microwave? I think all they have is a smoker. The food tastes fine but I have never got hot food there, it is always cold like eating leftovers out of the fridge. Smokehouse on Milligan Hwy is pretty good.

So are you a ETSU insider? How are you so sure it *is* going to happen? I'm just curious I live in JC and am pretty good friends with a lot of the donors and staff and havnt heard anything from them!

hellz yea i am. i got two degrees from that pla...no. i dont have any inside info.

in fact 99.9% of us on this board have no idea and only guess. some are better educated guessers.

honestly, id prefer not to have insider access to my alma mater. as for utk theres enough coverage to get grapevine access.

another good place is pratts bbq. one of my buddies used pratts at his wedd reception..was good, good enough that all the blue bloods in that crowd didnt complain.

knowing him im surprised they didnt wear birkenstocks, and have vegan food.

I would like to see Fulmer get another shot at coaching. He would bring a good deal of coverage to ETSU, which would be a big help getting the program off the ground. Whether or not he would be interested, I have no clue. His window of opportunity is almost closed after being out 3 years.

I went to U.T. when Fulmer was there, and since I am the same age bracket, I sometimes wonder if I would want to put my reputation on the line . I mean, he doesn't need the money, but he probably felt too young to quit. It would hurt to be forced out of your job in your late 50's. I wish him success if he chooses to coach again, but U.T. was losing ground to the better teams. He may have gotten it turned around, and may not. We will never know.

I have not heard of any Buc fans JC or otherwise that have eluded to that. CMS has been mentioned as helping out the cause but in no way to coach. Come on now.
