Amazing how all at once we've got a bunch of ETSU fans. They match up with Florida and have better depth. If they're on, they win. Probably tough to win an NCAA tourney game in Florida, though. The good part is the fans can travel.

Certainly more successful this year. Final ESPN RPI was 53 compared to Tennessee's 82. Stats don't lie.

I am the biggest Tennessee fan in all sports even pulled for them against ETSU in Johnson City ...where I was born and raised. I have also pulled for ETSU as well and as long as it was not against Tennessee. Kind of nice having a local team playing against my hated rival...Florida. Btw they beat Arizona in 90's when they was 15 seed

East Tennessee State: Steve Forbes does not mess around. His team is great on the defensive end and unafraid around the rim. I talked to a lot of coaches this week, and the two mids they told me they wanted to dodge most: Wilmington and ETSU."

Being a Tennessee fan I can see why others hate us. If not 100% about Tennessee some so called fans are ready to argue about stuff they don't know about. In the last 25+ years ETSU has had some good teams for a small school. Being a ETSU fan as well do I think they are going to win the tournament? No but think they do have a shot against UF. What is all the hate for? It is not out of the question that they can compete against the SEC.
