Really think JR is ahead of Sr going into college as far as skill and talent.Davis has shown flashes, the consistency and commitment have been the question. The talent is no doubt there, if he puts forth the effort he has all-sec abilities.
Ya just never know til it's in the oven.Hope this ring true this time. Last time I heard something like this was when 'Swiperboy' was coming in.
Ya just never know til it's in the oven.
His problems with ratings are because he's had a hard time establishing his own identity.
Did he want to follow dad as a post or make his own name as a wing.
Hopefully he decides early under Martin.
I'm hoping he decides on the post and fills out.
His dad played at 210-220 in college then ballooned to 240 in the pros.
Hope Christopher can get him to an athletic 225-230 by season 2.
I didn't realize it, but he played at 225 this season.Christopher should steal a page from the movie "The Program". But instead of making the kid carry the ball around campus, make him carry a 45 lb plate. lol
"I have a friend that works in the AD at Charleston Southern. D'montre Edwards is from Charleston and was a high school teammate of one of their best players. *He contacted them about transferring there assuming he can graduate from Tennessee. *My friend said his understanding was that he would have to graduate to be eligible next year. *There's one way the numbers might work themselves out."

Lol. Martin has reached on most of his guys and now you want to pretend he is recruiting well WHILE hoping they transfer.
Reached? Edwards, and Washpun are the only ones that looked like that haven't panned out. Idk where you're getting that from but ok. People like you are why people have to defend Martin. People complained after his first class and after last years even when we got Stokes. We have two winning seasons and didnt make the NCAA tourney ok fine complain. We still signed 4 top 150-200 players this year but yet still complain. I don't get it. I'm sure you're in that group that thinks Hubbs is going to be a bust along with the other recruits.
Reece and cheivous have 0 upside. Complete reaches. Moore and Richardson are role players. We are supposed to celebrate Martin getting 1 that can change a game in 2 recruiting. As far as this class, Hubbs is a good get. None of the others are in anyone that I know ofs top 150. Dont know that anyone even ranks a full top 200 so that is complete speculation.

I'm the only one around here that defends Reese.Reece and cheivous have 0 upside. Complete reaches.

Kid has plenty of potential as a role player.
Should never have played this season, but Martin had to burn his red shirt until McBee and McRae got their heads out of their a$$es and started playing basketball.
The kid lost 15 pounds of muscle because of his injury.
Wasn't strong enough to see the floor.
I agree with this. You have potential when you can hit the 3 at 6'8". Needs to add weight and work on a quicker release. To me, he has kind of a set shot. But I wouldn't dismiss Reese as a total non contributor.
