Different for regionals vs supers, kind of makes sense with a 4 team tourney vs. a 2 team series

Supers are more straight-forward since it's just 2 teams. At least they did away with the stupid coin flip.

To clear up why LSU was the home team on Monday, it's because they had been the "home" team for a lower % of the time than UNC. UNC had played 3 games and been the "home" team twice (67%). LSU had played 4 games and been the "home" team twice (50%).

I think it's stupid. Being the higher seed should give you the advantage of being the home team. But at the very least, if the regional goes to Monday, the higher seed should automatically be the home team without question.

I mean, ECU was supposed to roll into knox and be a threat, the same way we were supposed to roll into the Georgia game in 2022 and be a threat. On paper we were, but we were never going to win that game against that team. Same here. Had ECU advanced, we would have wiped the floor with them just like we're going to do to Evansville.
