Do not need a rules page. U may need to educate youself on what are BS blog opinions and what are mostly credible writers and stories.. Bleecher Report is a notoriously poorly informed and poorley written source of info and is ALWAYS the writers opinion laced with very little fact.

SO take the sarcastic "RULES" comment and do a little reading from other sources before linking junk from that RAG...:hi:

I can't believe people are sitting here willing to give a CFB neophyte 4yrs at 5+ mil a year to get results. I guess its easy to say when its other peoples money.

Bleacher Report or not, Gruden or anyone else will really have to work to get the best talent in here. Gruden has the splash, but I question how he wears on players, fans, parents and his bosses. Just ask any Buc fan who remembers him when he was canned. If any of you want to find out, just ask them or bury your head in the sand and hope for the best.

Al Davis traded him to Tampa Bay for some players. Old Al was looney himself, but if Gruden was that good he wouldn't dump him like that.

All that being said, I agree that Gruden should be hired over another "up and comer". Hart may have no other options. Are there any proven employed winning coaches at top line jobs willing to give up their safe jobs to come here? Are there any proven unemployed coaches who fit Hart's criteria of good character? Maybe, but unless there is a needle in a haystack, we are headed for another coach with "potential". If that's the case, I would settle for Gruden if his buyout is not too high.

Op-eds are just that. OPINIONS. I don't think I've ever seen fans rip other fans more than I do here. I continue to post here, however, because of the people that are reasonable and can have a friendly and decent conversation on a topic without resorting to schoolyard tit for tats.

If you don't like the guys argument then state your case and let it stand on it's own merit like some of the others here have done. I don't agree with the guys article and stated why. Have you ever watched a court case where one lawyer gives a rebuttal by looking at the jury, points to the opposing lawyer ( who just finished his argument ) and says......"oh yeh....well that attorney maintains a BS legal opinion blog, he's poorly informed and....and.....and he makes dumb arguments!"

And then leaves it at that?

Make your case man.

I wonder how many people get the Hunter Thompson reference...I agree with you on the wins. It is really hard to tell how good our talent is on defense right now because the players obviously were thinking too much and not reacting. I truly believe that our defensive problems were more coaching than talent. dont get me wrong I know that we are not a top 5 defense but we should not be a bottom 10 or whatever we finished.
