Expect Huckabee to be in the crosshairs tonight

All these candidates look confused to me.

Wow Fred looks old, he looks like he's gotten collagen shots under his eyes.

OK, I see the talking points that Fed Thompson has been coached on and wants to campaign on... Supreme Court Justices. He's mention the Supreme Court in several of his responses already.

Yes, I have been waiting for it. Ron Paul also appears to be stumbling around. Honestly, from the little I have watched so far, McCain seems to be on fire. I don't know that I have ever seen him look this good in a debate.

All of these candidates are being caught off guard. These are some really good questions that the YouTubers have brought up. The Holy Bible question and responses will be talked about for the coming days...

I missed those questions, unfortunately.

Huckabee is going to surge after this debate. Not necessarily because he did anything to win, but all of the frontrunners/contenders have had some major stumbles tonight.

Plus, it's clear that the "frontrunners" view him as a threat.

The fact that anyone in the country would vote for Mitt Romney baffles me. He is every bit as bad as John Kerry was for the democrats in the last election.

Uh oh... I really hope Duncan Hunter hasn't put words into Colin Powell's mouth, because you can expect an immediate response for him in the coming days if he has been misquoted or taken out of context.

Wow... :eek:hmy:

What a complete joke that CNN just let that General stand there and filibuster about gays in the military. This is a Presidential debate not a talk show.

I agree, but he was right, no one really gave an answer that was both straight (if you will pardon the term) and sensible.

It was just bizarre. Anderson Cooper clearly realized it was going nowhere fast, but it's CNN's fault for even having the guy on the mic in the first place.

They even tried to pull the old technical difficulty with the mic right in the middle of it once they realized it.

The Yankees haven't won a world series since Rudy has been out of office.

One more reason not to vote for him.

I'd say the winners were McCain, Huckabee and Giuliani just because he got a a lot of attention and took some punches without losing his message.

Romney and Thompson just looked lost.

Paul has some good ideas but should try answering a question without channeling Marshall Applewhite.
