I have one with over 110K miles and not a single problem to date and it gets good gas mileage. I have a first generation one with the Bose system and all the bells and whistles you could get in 2007. Its not bad. It has a CVT transmission which took a bit of getting used to for me at least. Its sometimes a bit jittery and slugish in the acceleration but its only 170hp 2.5L so..again mine is 1st gen 2008 model. Im sure the new ones have a redesigned interior.

I wouldnt buy another one though I need a bigger vehicle and I want something with a more power stock sound system, USB.microSD slots, ventilated seats, a v8 and a dimming outside driver mirror. To be honest I've never liked the way it looked. When I went to buy it I was actually looking for a Pathfinder. But gas prices had skyrocketed and the Nissan dealer hid the Pathfinders in the back lot. They pushed me towards the smaller ones.

Again, its not bad for a family with small kids..but squeezing 5 adults into is a pain. And the stupid oval design made it impossible for me to get a friggin 40" tv into the back.

Nissan loves those CVT's. I am not a fan of them at all. Then again I consider anything but a manual a letdown.

Not a real big car/engine guy: what's the deal with cvts? Why are they not good (or as good)?

Constantly Variable Transmissions don't have gears or gear ratios (they are software simulated in "manual" mode). They have bands and pulleys (simply put) and the geometry is always changing relative to engine speed.

One reason I hate them is that they make the engine drone and the "kickdown" just makes the engine drone louder.

Where are you buying my condo? I perfer as close to Yazoo as possible.

Seriously, probably near 2nd.

that's funny, after the inspection of my condo, I may not even be buying it

needs some roof work, so the owner's gonna need to come down in price or fix the roof

sucks because I need to move by Jan 10th, so it's cutting it close

good luck with your search
