Worley definitely getting comfortable out there. He's made some great reads, had a TD dropped by Croom, and is managing the offense well. Red zone efficiency has been high obviously.

I think of how bad Crompton looked early on a few years back. Then he came out and carved up Georgia. I think Worley will be OK. Some of the issue with the velocity on the ball is that WKU has been getting pressure causing him to make some awkward throws.

Because they finally called up some short passes from him! Worley had as many pass attempts <10 yards in that drive as he had in the entire first half.

He doesn't have the arm strength or accuracy to throw deep downfield, it's about damn time Bajakian starting calling plays for the QB he has, not the one he wants.

I'm really not sure if it's an issue of arm strength, lack of touch, or lack of accuracy. His only good passes are in the flats.

Which begs the question, why does he keep getting asked to throw the deep ball? He has 6 attempts >20 yards today compared to only 9 of <10.

After the short passes on the last drive went some well, you have to wonder why he keeps getting asked what he obviously can't do.
