We might have missed, and there was a very small chance they block it and return it for a TD. Let's say we just miss and they take over on downs. Then maybe they have time for two plays. A quick throw to midfield and then a hail mary, perhaps. Long odds? Sure. But no disgrace in taking the sure thing runoff. 1 in 0 is still better than 1 in 200 (or w.e.).Yeah I mean, come on. Anything can happen but, we were GOING to kick that field goal and make it a two score game regardless. All the run off did was make the ending less exciting. Wildcat fans saying this cost them the game are delusional.
