fans/students throwing bottles at vandy players at end

Two wins in two years. Gee, notice the recent trend?

So, did UT own Fla when they beat them twice in 2003 and 2004 even after Spurrier had just owned UT for a decade? See how stupid that looks?

It's a 2 game win "streak" over arguably UT's worst teams ever. That's it. Bravo. F'n Bravo. Good Lord.

Hell, UT has sucked balls since 2008 and is still 4-2 against Vandy in that timeframe. Gee, notice that trend?

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

I would have thrown anything I could get my hands on at Franklin starting with the heaviest object I could find. If players were running their mouth they deserved it too. If our players were running their mouth at Florida, Bama, Georga etc. I am sure they would get hit too. They didn't win with class so why should we lose with class.

I'm generally against this, and I didn't throw anything, but I certainly wasn't going to stop anyone else from doing it. The Vandy players and coaches should have either stayed with their fans or gone to the locker room. Their players and coaches take after Franklin who is just an awful human being. I'll be happy for Vandy once he leaves tbh. Almost everyone will disagree with me here, but I like Vandy being competitive in football, but with Franklin at the helm, I wish them no success at all. He is just like Kiffin, maybe worse.

Alabama - Kentucky circa 1980, could have been 1982. A Tennessee fan threw an empty Jack Daniel bottle on the field, striking a cheerleader above the eye. She bled profusely as she was escorted out of the stadium to get help.

Many fights in the stands that day also. Real classy group you've got.

1) 1982. Good, modern reference.

2) Like I said, I saw no glass containers being thrown.

3) If you want to talk about lack of class, you may want to start with yourself and the tone you seem to be addressing others with on this forum. Good day, sir.

I thought Vol fans were a cut above.
Guess not.
Proves that most colleges have a fair amount of SCUM!.

We need some regulations for fans.
If a person gets caught throwing objects, ban them for life!.

you trying to write a haiku here??

By your logic, I guess it is Sewanee that really owns the State of Tennessee. As far as I know, they have an all-time record of 3-0 vs. UT. See how dat works???

I don't know where you got your stats, but Sewanee is 0-3 against UT when they were a member of the SEC. They are 6-12 all time dating back to the early 1900's.

You can cherry pick stats all you want to try and fit your argument. Most rational people know who has ownership over the other team. Vandy used to own UT back in the early 1900's. Then General Neyland was hired with one operative. Beat Vandy. He did and then some. Ever since then it has been total domination by UT. Vandy has a slight upper hand right now with 2 wins. I hardly call that ownership. Bragging rights for now? Yes. However, if you know anything about the history of the series, that will not continue. Vandy has 30 wins in the series. 19 of those came before 1930.
