No it would have been 3rd and 8 from the 31 bro. The play started on on the 15. They ran for no gain on 1st & 24. That brought up 2nd and 24 from the 15. They got 16 yards on 2nd which brought up 3rd & 8 from the 31. They were nowhere near fg range even with the penalty.

That was particularly egregious, and allowed them to extend the drive to put the game away. I thought it was funny how Herbie wanted to go back and take another look and was instantly put in his place by Fowler and the rules expert. This game was heavily slanted toward Georgia from the get go.

Fowler tried to make an argument for motion the problem is he was going backwards not horizontal
