No, I'm dead serious. How do you know? You won't take anything for face-value, clearly. I don't see why you didn't assume it was a scam by the doctors to squeeze more money out of the family, and then bury the evidence. I mean you know, all scientists are such evil schemers.

It's not meaningful when you are just saying "it's bull, it's a conspiracy" but not providing anything that refutes the established scientific facts. You might as well be telling me my car doesn't need gasoline to run.

You can't have emotional and political opinions on scientific issues with no evidence or facts to uphold them, and expect someone who is a scientist to take you seriously. Go tell your doctor you "believe" vaccines are a conspiracy and cause autism. Any legitimate one will roll their eyes and tell you you're wrong.

The way I see it, you either:

A) don't understand the science (or even the hypotheses) involved in the thinning of the ozone layer and anthropogenic global warming

or

B) you are being intellectually dishonest by trying to use the reversal of ozone thinning as some sort of indication that climate change is bunk

The post I quoted above asserts that Gore is going around the country "pushing" ozone hole issues. We know that isn't the case...so which one explains your statement - a or b?

I know that to be the mantra of politically motivated naysayers, but it's totally BS. I'm not playing. It's the myth that the entire "conspiracy" crowd depends on upholding, no matter how many times it is shot down.

Go ahead and link the website that lists the thousands of "climate scientists," filled with people who have been dead for 30 years, dermatologists, and dentists.

I know of only a couple of scientists who disagree. One works for Exxon, the other for a conglomerate of petroleum businesses.

I should say "net" positive. They do think there will be economic repercussions, but they think the climate's economic repercussions would be the same, so we might as well mitigate the irreversible damage instead.

Guys, you're nice but Cap and trade is about money. I know you're all scientist but cap and tax is about money and nothing else. Where do you think it will be bought and sold and who do you think will be handling the exchange?

I can't even begin to have a meaningful conversation about this with someone who is starting from a perspective of "climuht change ain't real, y'all!" It's a complex issue that merits lots of honest debate. Honest debate doesn't include candy land visions of how the Earth's systems work.

Who argued that Al Gore wasn't pushing climate issues? You said he was out pushing ozone thinning issues and then tied this to global warming. The hole in the ozone layer is a separate issue from global warming. I just want to know if you connected the two due to not knowing better or out of intellectual dishonesty.
