You don't find it slightly odd? Again, not saying it didn't happen, it just surprises me.

Ive been to the Nevada Test Site, during the space race nuclear powered spacecraft were being tested.

True. I just find it crazy that we landed and retrieved a man from the moon in 1969. Especially, in hindsight now that we know Einstein was wrong.

Eh. Most of them were complete accidents or resulted from technology which was discovered/invented by complete accidents. I'd be more impressed if more of our innovations came from intelligent deduction/induction.

Oh.......the only way something is impressive is by well thought out problem solving.

My point is that not many people can do that. There are not many Einsteins out there, literally.

There would have been many more technological discoveries by chance as well in the past if the religious and political climate would have allowed the results to stand.

Well we did it. I saw it live on a black and white television during class in the public school I attended. If they showed it on TV you know it had to happen.
I loved the space trips, we always watched them during school .

eNGINE THAT GETS 100 MILES TO THE GALLON WAS CREATED IN THE 80'S BUT THE TECHNOLOGY WAS BOUGHT BY THE OIL COMPANIES.

Oh and the Andy Kaufman conspiracy thing was always great. Because of how he was, that one was actually believable.
