Favorite NCAA Basketball team and player (Non-UT).

A little bored over here in Indiana so I am interested to see if anybody else likes to follow other NCAA basketball teams like me. I am a huge fan of college basketball and besides Tennessee I love to watch many other teams play.

Who are your favorite NCAA Basketball Teams besides UT and favorite players besides UT players (past and present)? I know some of you may strictly bleed orange, but there has got to be some other teams you enjoy watching every year.

For me its:

Teams: Arizona, Pittsburgh, and Indiana (my school)

Current Player: DeJuan Blair - love his style of play and always seems like he's having fun.

Past Players: Jason Gardner (Arizona PG) and Julius Hodge (NC State F)

Nice, the year they won it all was probably the first year i really paid attention to college basketball. Probably the reason i enjoy watching Arizona bball to this day along with the fact that i was born there. The years with Arenas, Jefferson, and Gardner were also fun. Then the year they blew it against the Illini.

I have been a fan of Wake since the days of Childress and Duncan. I also like Pitt.

Favorite players?

Present: Teague, Aminu, Johnson, Fields, Blair and Young
Past: There is a mess of them. Obviously Duncan, Childress and Paul. I really liked Frahm and Santangelo for Gonzaga back in the late 90s. Gray and Krauser were favorites of mine from some former Pitt teams.

I've always liked Pitt's point guards. Going back to Krauser and the two brothers who played there, i forget their names, but one is now a coach for Pitt. Played some memorable games in the Big East tourney with an injured leg- I wanna say Brendan.

Was watching North Carolina B-Ball before Tennessee football, so I've always loved Carolina.

My non-Tennessee favorite player would have to be Mr. Carmelo Anthony of Syracuse, and his 1 year there.

player-wise: james harden

and by extension and due to sendek and watching glasser/pendergraph/kuksiks: ASU

but I'd hesitate to say I'm really rooting for them; I just like watching his playing style and theirs.

I am big on KU Basketball...I love it, I tried so hard to go to Allen Fieldhouse this year for KU/UT.
I bleed orange but I consider myself a "Phog Fanatic"

Started watching KU in the 90's, but I loved Kirk Heindrich (damn Cuse) also loved Brandon Rush.

Non KU: JJ Reddick

I loved Chris Paul and Justin Gray at Wake.
Pissed me off when gansey and pittsnoggle beat them in the tournament.

I like Stephen Curry... my dad played with his dad some and they know each other.

Hakim Warrick.

Dislike: Kris Lang, Hansbrough (with a passion), shelden williams

Present - James johnson and jeff teague
Past- Chris Paul and Josh Howard...i also liked a lot of other players on other teams
