Favorite NCAA Basketball team and player (Non-UT).

North Carolina

I loved watching Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Raymond Felton, Sean May. And Hansbrough is the man now.

Growing up I loved the Arizona team with Miles Simon and Bibby.

I'll always be thankful for their '97 win over Kentucky. As bad as the Pitino years were for a Volunteer fan from the Bluegrass State, a threepeat might have been unbearable.

I almost put Mark Macon on my list too. He killed UNC in the Dean Dome one year. IIRC, Temple won by 18 points. One of UNC's worst losses there.

Not one UC player? Come on! Not even Art Long? I figured you'd a huge fan of anyone who punched a police horse.

Does Cincy make the dance this year?
I figured everyone would expect a bunch of UC guys from me. Since you asked, here goes:

Roger McClendon
Lou Banks
Nick Van Exel
Anthony Buford
Eric Martin
Terry Nelson
Darnell Burton
Curtis Bostic
Damon Flint
Danny Fortson
Kenyon Martin
Steve Logan
Bobby Brannen
D'Juan Baker
Ruben Patterson
Mel Levitt
Jason Maxiell
James White
Eric Hicks

I love me some Darnell Burton. Also enjoyed watching Lazell Durden shoot the rock.
Durden was the catalyst in one of the wildest comebacks I've ever seen. UC was down 10 with about a minute and a half left at Wyoming and Laz hit a flurry of threes win the game.

Always liked Syracuse growing up.

John Wallace was recent one from the past that I enjoyed watching. The year he knocked UGA out of the tourney and had a really good all around tourney.

I dig the Indiana feel to that list, but overall it seems your list has a little pre 95' bias to it. I'm 21 years young so I don't know a lot of those players besides the hoosiers. Interested to see if there is any current or recent players you enjoy watching.

Sure, there are a bunch. Carmelo Anthony, Jameer Nelson, Brandon Bass, Deron Williams, David West, Mike Gansey, Caron Butler, Juan Dixon, Kevin Kruger, Wayne Simien, Chris Kramer, Levance Fields, Mateen Cleaves, Paul Harris...
