I have Leonard Little and Dwayne Goodrich in my top players. How sad is that?

Leonard Little was about as close to a human highlight reel as a defensive player can be. He definitely laid some of the biggest hits of any UT player (do not respond with the obligatory automobile joke).

Oh I know. On the field those two were my favorite players. I was pointing out how sad I was that they are still two of my favorite players while Heath Shuler is not for how he acted once he left UT.

Tony Robinson- what he did against UCLA and Auburn on national tv was the reason that Tennessee was back in the national spotlight. Those first games in 85 started the renewed tradition that we are enjoying today.

Reggie Cobb- Mr automatic in the red zone and was on his way to first team all american before drugs got in the way.

These were my favorite vols while they played at UT.

Yea, that guy did some serious damage to the Capstone.

Now I can't let you guys talk about Albert Means. Means high school football coach and asst football coach plotted the whole scheme. The asst football coach went public because the head football coach took all the proceeds from Alabama and didn't give the asst coach a dime. Means looked at The head football coach as a father figure and took his advice on going to Alabama. Means family was poverty stricken and the head coach didn't offer them a dime. Means is a great kid and like the old saying "God won't bless no mess", Means didn't have a clue that he was being shopped by his high school football coaches. In spite of it all he graduated from The University of Memphis and is now teaching and coaching football at a local high school.

I would throw Haskel Stanback and Condredge Holloway into the discussion just for the fun of it. Though niether would be in the top five at their respective positions.

yeah, but Condredge, at the time, was an electrifying qb....that run they show against UCLA...awesome, even by today's standards.

I'm not at all sure UT has had 5 QBs better than Holloway.
