Until games ate vacated, AU is the rightful representative.I know it was mentioned by Clay Travis in his article earlier this week, but how will it affect the SECCG if Newton is deemed to have been ineligible over the next couple weeks? Will Auburn still play in that game or will the second place team get the trip? The more I read about this though, the more it seems like their status in the SECCG, BCS, and Cam Newton's heisman hopes are going to be small potatoes compared to what Auburn may really be looking at in the long run.
Looks like Auburn did nothing more than assemble a bunch of cheaters for coaches and recruiters. Guys that would go along with Lowder's pay for play scheme. I'd be surprised if any of these current coaches are there next year.
They're going to effectively kill their program for a long time. Enjoy this year boys, bad times are coming.
Les Miles is the luckiest mother ...
If this happens, and LSU goes to the SECCG, he should just retire. Bounce passes and lucky penalties will never compare to that year he lucked into the SECCG.

Take it a step further. He talked his way into the BCSNCG with two losses because they were both in overtime. Imagine him talking to voters saying that his team is undefeated against teams playing eligible players. Shoot with an SECCG win he might be able to jump Boise and TCU anyway.
Off topic, but it strikes me as odd that Alabama has a non-holiday Thursday home game.
